Are you thinking of joining a running group but have hardly any experience or condition? And do you want to discover if running is your sport?
At our club you can start, with a month long free membership.
After that free month of running, the basic membership fee is € 151,50 per calender year which includes:
- Membership of the Royal Dutch Athletic Union (fee € 20,00)
- Insurance during training and races
- 5 times per year an informative and well presented digital club magazine
- 10% discount at De Hardloopwinkel and at Starshoe in Zoetermeer.
If you start your membership during the year, you will only have to pay for the weeks to remain (excluded the fee for the Athletics Union which is fixed).
The one time Administration fee is € 15,00.
Most members are ‘Recreant-lid‘. That will allow you to participate in allmost every road race organized in the Netherlands. Only if you want to participate in athletics track races, you will need an additional Racing license which costs you € 25,35 extra.
Membership is open to everyone older than 16 years of age.
You have to agree with direct debit for the membership fee. In case this direct debit fails, Bank payments can be transferred to IBAN: NL71 INGB 0002 6360 75, The Hague Road Runners Contributie.

Termination of membership
The clubs financial year is from 1st Jan to 31st Dec. Termination of membership must be in writing or per email before the 1ste of November. If you do not cancel before this date, you will remain a member for the whole of the following year including all connected responsibilities and obligations. In complying with legislation applicable to (running) clubs, the administrator will send an email to all members every year in October to confirm club membership. Reference will once more be made to the abovementioned 2 month notice period.
