Frequently asked questions about the Hague CPC Runners
TRAINING
Q: When does training take place?
A: On Sunday morning at 09.30 and Thursday night at 19.00. A training session usually takes between one hour and an hour and a half.
Q: I can’t make it to the first training, can I start later?
A: Yes, this is possible. Please let us know however, after you have applied, by sending an e-mail to hcr@hagueroadrunners.nl. You can just show up at the second training. It is also no problem if you miss any of the consecutive training sessions.
Q: I am a regular runner and train frequently by myself. Is the Hague CPC Runners an interesting option for me?
A: Experienced runners can also learn a lot during training sessions. We train new members about running techniques and how to stretch properly. We also use different types of training. These are all good reasons to join our club.
Q: A training session takes between one hour and an hour and a half, are you running continuously during this time, without a break?
A: No, during a training session we do an extensive warm-up, and different exercises to improve your running technique, followed by a core training and a cooling down period at the end.

Q: How can I join the Hague CPC Runners?

Q: What is the minimum age requirement to join the Hague CPC Runners?
A: 16 years
Q: How do I pay the €75 to join the course?
A: On the application form you give the HRR a once-off authorisation to take the amount out of your bank account by direct debit.
Q: I have applied to join the course, can I still quit (and get my money back)?
A: Once we have confirmed your application it is not possible to refund the course fee. However, if within two weeks of the start of the course it turns out it isn’t for you, we will refund the course fee, after the deduction of €15 for expenses incurred.
Q: I have applied for the course. Do I receive further information on when I need to be present at training?
A: No, we will not send you additional information. We will meet you for the first training session at 09.30 at the Hague Road Runners clubhouse situated in Groenendaal 11, 2244 BK in Wassenaar. Q: If I have done the beginners course, can I join the Hague CPC Runners as well?
A: Yes, this is not a problem
